It's been one year since the murder of mafia boss Antonio Scarvalo
Residing over the largest criminal syndicate in Chicago, Antonio Scarvalo was targeted by and murdered last year by a rival outfit in town looking to seize more power and control in the city. In the past twelve months, Antonio's widow, Maria Scarvalo, has taken over the empire. Starting to feel the pressure of the other families closing in on her and her daughter, Maria decides it is time to get out of town and leave the family's criminal past behind them.
Over the past few months Maria has been quietly liquidating the family's assets, properties and businesses and plans to travel with her daughter to Miami and then on to a Caribbean island for their new lives. Before they were able to depart, their bank was robbed. Someone had heard about their plans and targeted their newly liquidated fortune after hearing it was to be all in one place prior to their departure.
With the police department swamped with violent crime, the Chief has called upon the insurance investigative team from the bank's insurance company to take on the case.
A great many people have made a life out of working for and with the Scarvalo criminal syndicate. From lawyers to accountants, stock brokers, bank employees, mafia crews, mafia lieutenants and all of the people that were under the employ of the Scarvalo's at their many residences and businesses throughout the city. Nobody wants to see it all go away!
Using the materials provided to your team by the police department, try and catch the robber before they can escape with the Scarvalo fortune. Return it to Maria and her daughter and help them fulfill their dream of getting out of Chicago and starting a new life down in the islands.
THE CASE BOOK
Each detective team will get a case book that contains all 19 suspects with an individual profile sheet on each one. There is a letter from the Chief of Police, a suspect checklist, a detective to-do list and an evidence checklist so you know what to collect around the property to bring back to your team table.
When you think you know who robbed the bank, simply fill out the Arrest Request Form and turn it into a game host.
